Across Africa, professionals, organisations and institutions are designing cities, delivering infrastructure, advancing research and solving complex challenges. Yet much of that work remains difficult to discover beyond existing networks.
Professionals rely on referrals, messaging groups and disconnected platforms to find opportunities and build relationships. Organisations often struggle to reach the right people. Valuable research, projects and ideas rarely travel as far as they should.

NURU exists to make Africa's built environment easier to discover, understand and navigate. By bringing together professionals, organisations, projects, opportunities and industry knowledge, we are building a trusted digital platform for the built environment community.
We believe a more connected built environment benefits everyone. Professionals gain greater visibility. Organisations reach the people and expertise they need. Research travels further. Projects become easier to discover. Collaboration happens across disciplines and borders rather than remaining within isolated networks.

FROM THE FOUNDER
I started NURU after seeing, first-hand, how disconnected Africa's built environment ecosystem still is. Talented professionals with real expertise, and organisations doing meaningful work, often have no shared place to find each other.
NURU exists to close that gap. I'm building it to be a platform the industry can rely on for years, not a project that fades after launch.
